"Makeup class" can mean very different things. Some people want to look better in everyday photos. Others want to make their own lipstick, start a beauty brand, or get better at demonstrating products in a store. This guide helps you choose, and is honest about what we don't offer.

1. You want to do your own makeup better: Personal Makeup Workshop

  • What it is: a guided 1.5–2 hour session at Orchard Central. You start with a professional colour analysis to find the shades that suit you, then learn step-by-step techniques for your features and everyday style.
  • Price: S$128.
  • Booking: book a time slot in the calendar on the workshop page. Each booking is for one participant.

2. You want to make your own makeup product: Cosmetic Making Workshop

  • What it is: after a colour analysis, you make your own lipstick, blusher or eyeshadow. It takes 1.5–2 hours.
  • Price: S$163.50.
  • Booking: book here.

3. You want to develop makeup products for a brand: a SkillsFuture makeup course

  • Course: How to Create Products that Sell (Make Up).
  • What it is: a 3-day, 24-hour SkillsFuture course (TGS-2025055451) on identifying trends, analysing market needs and taking makeup products from concept to prototype, testing and packaging.
  • Registering: use the registration button on the course page. Our team then confirms your place.

4. You work in beauty retail: Mastering Product Demonstrations

  • Course: Mastering Product Demonstrations for Customer Engagement.
  • What it is: a 2-day, 16-hour SkillsFuture course (TGS-2025058991) on planning and delivering structured makeup product demonstrations. You learn to assess customer needs, choose products and explain their benefits clearly.
  • Details: course page.

Quick comparison

Can I use SkillsFuture Credit?

The two workshops are not SkillsFuture-funded. The two courses are listed on MySkillsFuture, where you can see whether SkillsFuture Credit applies and what your payable fee is. Funding depends on the course and your eligibility.

What we don't offer

We don't run professional makeup-artist certification. If you want to work as a freelance makeup artist, look for a dedicated makeup academy. Our options focus on personal makeup, making cosmetics and the business side of beauty.

Groups and gifts

Cosmetic making is one of our team bonding activities; contact us to ask about a group session for either workshop.
