Learner's Contract

Here'a couple of things to take note before the course begins.

Disclaimer

1. I am aware that Happy Together Pte Ltd is not a recruitment center and is not responsible for securing a job for me.

2. I am not incentivised by Happy Together Pte Ltd in any way when signing up for the course.

Course Information

3. I am aware of the course outline, modules, and total duration.

4. I am aware of the date, time, and venue for the training.

Course Fee and Subsidy

5. I am aware of the fee structure.

Course Deposit

6. I am aware that the Course Deposit $30 will be refunded upon 14 days completion of the course.

7. I am aware that the Course Deposit $30 will be forfeited if I do not complete the course (See clause 8).

Course Completion Criteria
  1. I am aware that I must meet the following criteria to be considered to have successfully completed the course:

- Attain at least 75% attendance, and

- Pass all assessments in the course within 60 calendar days from the Initial Course start date.

  1. I am aware that if I did not meet the above criteria, my nett fee will not be refunded.
Safety Criteria

10. I acknowledge that certain course activities may involve the use of hot equipment, sharp tools, fragrance oils, essential oils, waxes, colourants, cosmetic ingredients, and other raw materials

11. I agree to follow all safety instructions provided by the trainer at all times. Without the trainer’s supervision or instruction, I shall not operate, touch, or handle any hot plate stove, heat gun, cutter, scissors, fragrance oil, cosmetic ingredient, or any other course equipment or materials.

12. I understand that failure to follow safety instructions may result in injury or discomfort, including but not limited to:

A) Burn injuries from hot plate stoves, heat guns, melted wax, or heated materials;

B) Cuts or injuries from cutters, scissors, or other sharp tools;

C) Fire hazards caused by overheating wax or improper handling of heated equipment;

D) Skin irritation, allergic reactions, eye discomfort, or sensitivity reactions caused by improper handling of fragrance oils, essential oils, colourants, cosmetic ingredients, or other raw materials.

13. After handling fragrance oils, essential oils, cosmetic ingredients, colourants, waxes, or other raw materials, I shall avoid touching or rubbing my face, eyes, mouth, or sensitive skin areas. I understand that doing so may cause irritation, allergic reaction, or other sensitivity reactions. I agree to wash my hands thoroughly after handling such materials and before touching my face, eyes, personal belongings, or consuming food and drinks.

14. I shall inform the trainer before the course if I have any known allergies, skin sensitivities, respiratory conditions, or medical conditions that may be affected by fragrance oils, essential oils, cosmetic ingredients, waxes, heat, or other course materials.

15. Happy Together Pte Ltd shall not be held liable for any injury, irritation, allergic reaction, discomfort, loss, or damage arising from my failure to follow the trainer’s safety instructions, misuse of equipment or materials, or handling of equipment or materials without trainer supervision, to the extent permitted by law.

Reschedule

16. I can arrange for reschedule and/or reassessment to meet the Course Completion Criteria (See Clause 8) upon approval from Happy Together Pte Ltd Management. Please refer to our full policy in the registration form and website.

17. I will be charged an administrative fee of S$54.50 (inclusive of 9% GST) for each request to reschedule or for reassessment. This administrative fee cannot be paid using SkillsFuture Credits. This fee may be waived by valid reasons (See Clause 19). Approval of any waiver rescheduling request is not guaranteed and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of management.

18. I understand that rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing via email before the course commencement date. Requests submitted after the course has commenced will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and are subject to approval.

Valid Reasons

19.I am aware of the following list of valid reasons:

- Medical grounds;

- Compassionate grounds such as bereavement, critical illness of an immediate family member, or urgent caregiving responsibilities;

- National Service reservist obligations.

20. I am aware that all Valid Reasons must come with supporting document(s).

21. I am aware of the following are Invalid Reasons:

- Work-related

- Family-related

- Any Reason without supporting document

- Covid-Negative Self-quarantine

- Any other circumstances not listed in the list of Valid Reasons

English Proficiency

22. I am able to read and understand the above clauses in this document.

23. I understand that this class will be conducted fully in English and I am able to read, understand, speak and write in English.

Course Policy and Terms

24. I have read and understood the Course Policy and Terms on Happy Together Pte Ltd website.

General

25. I consent to Happy Together Pte Ltd using my personal data for training matters such as sending course details, administration and course-related surveys.

26. I consent to Happy Together Pte Ltd using my personal data, including but not limited to photos and videos for the purpose of marketing and promotional information about the products and/or services from Happy Together Pte Ltd.

27. Happy Together Pte Ltd reserves the right to terminate any enrolment without prior notice if the academy has decided in its sole discretion that it would be in its best interest to do so.

28. Enrolment will only be confirmed upon payment (Deposit + Course Fee).
